About Chloë Vanderelst, B.S.
I am a non denominational, spirit-filled Christian. I love the Lord Jesus Christ with all my heart. I have been a Christian all of my adult life and grew up in a Christian home in Southern California. I believe the only way to get to heaven is through believing Jesus Christ is God’s son and accepting him into your heart. I believe that anyone can be saved and God created all mankind and loves every single one of his children. I believe that prayer, fasting, worshiping, attending church and living a lifestyle that is pleasing to the Lord is all apart of loving God as a Christian.
I have graduated from Sam Houston State University with a bachelor of science degree in psychology. I am a member of the honorsociety.org, as well as a lifetime member of the Psi Beta National Honor Society in Psychology for students. My passion in career has been psychology for many years now, mainly clinical psychology. I went through four years learning about psychological disorders & illnesses, cognition, memory, personality and many other behavioral science areas.
I am also a huge nerd, I love all things comic book related. To me, the best movies in the world are portraying comic book characters. I have always felt that super heroes can represent a positive helpful outlook on life and at times can model good character attributes that can be helpful in the real world today. Although I can be biased to Batman, he is my ultimate favorite, I believe many super heroes can be better examples of how to live and act than some people we may see in real life (aka some celebrities perhaps).
*Please note I have a background in psychology but I am not a psychiatrist nor licensed counselor, if you feel need professional help please get in touch with your local doctor.
